I think Ive fallen for my slow cooker thanks to this slow cooked spiced pulled lamb shoulder made in my slow cooker. Cover then bring to a simmer if using place the casserole in the heated oven.

Heat the oil in the frying pan on a high-medium heat. Layer the potatoes and onions in a roasting tin and place the lamb. Put the lid on and cook on low for approx.
Melt the butter in a saucepan until foaming then stir through the flour. The roast will produce its own and keep it wonderfully tending while cooking. Add salt and pepper.
Lastly add the chicken stock. Cook on low for roughly 8 hours. Eight hours or high for approx.
